Something that is very note-worthy when it comes to LKM:
After almost five years of full-time travel with music ministry, Lindsey went on a 6 month Sabbatical in April of 2009 to take a step back from traveling and formal ministry in order to re-evaluate God’s call on her life and how He desires to use her and Lindsey Kane Ministries for His glory. Lindsey feels this is a season in which God is clearly calling her to attend and serve the church from a place other than the stage. As Lindsey waits on the Lord during this time of transition, she invites you to pray for her wisdom and insight into His will, that she will clearly see how He desires for her to make His name known.
In November of 2010, Lindsey started feeling God releasing her again to do ministry, but ministry of a different kind, and on a part-time basis only. If you are interested in knowing more about LK's journey, feel free to email her on her myspace page. Lindsey's heart beats for the least of these, the people on the fringes - people who have been excluded by the world and even the church. Her new ministry goal is to love people and love God - to show people the ultimate and unconditional love of God - no matter who you are or what you do.
Now, Lindsey is spending time with her family and church family in Austin, TX working full-time and doing various music events on the side. Stay tuned for exciting news about a new opportunity God has opened up for Lindsey's music ministry: working on new material for a new record. So, even though she isn't officially traveling full-time anymore, LK still needs prayer that God would water the seeds she's sowing in other areas of her life.
Lindsey Kane Ministries exists to bring glory to God and passion to people. Lindsey desires for her music and teaching to bring hope to the hopeless, love to the unloved, and peace to the afflicted. God has a limitless supply of love, hope, and mercy and LK wants to communicate that to everyone she comes in contact with.
